Inclusion Forums 2020/2021

Autumn Term 2020

Due to the C-19 conditions prevailing we have moved to deliver our autumn term Inclusion Forums using an interactive online format (Zoom) that will feature both Zena Martin (Inclusive Learning North) and Steve Russell (Beyond Behaviour) live and online.

We are still hopeful to be able to deliver both the spring and summer Inclusion Forums at our usual (and in some cases new) venues, however we do have the option to deliver them via our online, interactive format (Zoom) if C-19 restrictions still dictate into the spring or summer terms.

Our online interactive session will also be recorded and sent to all attending delegates as well for those wishing to share the impact of this CPD with colleagues in school.

Morning CPD Course:
‘It’s the Stage not the Age that Counts’

Viewing behaviour through a developmental lens

Practical strategies for supporting attachment and self-esteem in the classroom, and recognising the impact of trauma.

  • Overview of developmental stages, focusing on social and emotional development.
  • How ‘gaps’ in development can present through behaviours.
  • The impact that trauma, including COVID-19, can have: triggering an instinctive need to revisit earlier stages, especially related to attachment.
  • Practical strategies for supporting attachment and self-esteem in the classroom.

Afternoon SEND Forum:
We hold fast to our principles and are flexible in our approaches’:

Strategically leading on SEMHN/behaviour

INCLUSION FORUMS BOOKING FORM – Online autumn term 2020

Read here to learn what our delegates have said about our Inclusion Forums

Read here about the impact our Inclusion Forums have had in schools.

An increasing number of schools and clusters now prefer to invite Zena into their school to deliver courses, staff training, INSET days or a package of support directly with staff……for further details please visit here

Our aim is to provide all attending delegates of our Inclusion Forums with the slideshows, handouts and resources required, so that you can deliver the same course back in your own school. Indeed, many delegates have reported successfully doing so. We achieve this by providing delegates with access to hidden web pages that contain all the necessary resources to download.

Our copyright terms are that attending delegates are free to use all the materials provided within their own school only. Please contact us if you would like to share with clusters of schools, teaching school alliances or MATs.</span
